Vintage Motorcycle Rally

Here’s some footage of the 2011 Venice Vintage Motorcycle Rally from this past October, a show that displays all makes and models of vintage machinery, from cafe to custom choppers.

Jamie Robinson, who creates videos for Alpinestars, was at the Rally that took place in Venice, Los Angeles, on Oct. 22. Robinson cruised up the Pacific Coast Highway to Malibu before heading back to Venice for vintage festivities, live music and BBQ.

Speaking of the event on his site MotoGeo.com, Jamie Robinson says: “The whole event was great fun, interesting and it was just fantastic to see all those vintage and classic motorcycles being ridden and enjoyed.

“All the British bikes seemed to like the foggy morning ride to Malibu where hundreds of bikers took over the Pacific Coast Highway before returning to Venice where food, drinks, music and vendors were all gathered and the motorcycles from the rally were judged to find the best British, American, European, Japanese, Cafe, Custom, race inspired and ugliest bike at the show!

“Unfortunately my classic re-builds weren’t ready for this event so I had to get my vintage fix by breathing in Castrol R from the smokey fumes and ogling at all the bikes from a bygone era.”

Attached above is a short of the event that Robinson created for Alpinestars.
