2012 Harley-Davidson Motorcycle

In an effort to attract younger motorcyclists, Harely-Davidson expanded its Dark Custom line in 2010, offering the Sportster Forty-Eight.

The Sportster Forty-Eight (48) featured a fuel-injected 1200cc Evo powerplant, slammed suspension (think 26-inch seat height), a classic peanut tank, a solo seat and of course those fat, balloon tires, a 130mm up front, with a 150mm out back.

And for 2012, Harley continues offering the Forty-Eight; new for 2012 are Michelin Scorcher “31” tires, black-side covers and paint options/graphics.
