2011 Harley-Davidson Motorcycle

With so many manufacturers across the industry upgrading motors, offering more power in cruisers, Harley-Davidson began a trend across many motorcycles in the 2012 lineup – upgrading from the Twin Cam 96 to the more powerful 103.

The 2012 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe FLSTN is one of the motorcycles within this trend, the classic-styled softail now featuring the counter-balanced Twin Cam 103B with 98.7 ft. lbs. of torque at 3000 rpm. This power is delivered to the ground through a 6-Speed Cruise Drive Transmission.

Styling wise, Harley didn’t change much on the 2012 Softail Deluxe. The bike still features the low seat with “collapsing sides,” pull-back handelbar and risers, a clean front-light bar, horseshoe oil tank, five-gallon fuel tank and chrome grab rail and luggage rack.
