Valentino Rossi & Hayden at Ducati Night

Valentino Rossi / Nicky Hayden Video

Last night, the Ducati Team with its star riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden were greeted by thousands of fans at Ducati Night in Bologna.

The celebrations at the Piazza Maggiore in Italy was intended to be a passionate send-off to the Ducati Marlboro Team of Rossi and Hayden just prior to their first race of the year in Qatar later this month, and from the images in this attached YouTube video, it was full of passion.

Two of the three pre-season MotoGP tests are complete, and so far Rossi has been beat by his Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki rivals. But at the Ducati Night, the nine-time world champions said he is ready to "grit his teeth" and push hard at the final MotoGP Test in Qatar and in a bid to be ready for the first race.

Also at the Bologna show. the GP Replica Rossi/Hayden Ducati Monsters were unveiled. The MotoGP livery scheme kits are available for 696, 796, 1100 and 1100 S Monsters as well as the brand new Monster 1100EVO, and will be also available as original colors on new Ducati Monsters in participating countries.
