Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

The music lineup for the 2011 Sturgis Rally continues to grow, and this week the British rock group Def Leppard was added to the roster at the Buffalo Chip.

The rock band at the famed motorcycle show is scheduled to play at the Buffalo Chip campground on Monday, Aug. 8, as part of the band’s U.S. tour with Heart (Heart has yet to confirm Sturgis).

The group has sold more than 65 million albums worlwide, with most fame coming from their 1983 record "Pyromania," and the 1987 album "Hysteria," which both sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.

Def Leppard joins a list of famous bands at the 30th Annual edition of the legendary Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, including Bachman & Turner, Alice Cooper, George Thorogood and the Destroyers and Toby Keith.
