Motorcyclist Helping Troops
Hot Leathers, the industry leader in motorcycle apparel, will be combing the nation this rally season to not only showcase its quality products at a variety of rallies and motorcycle events across the country but to raise money and awareness for active U.S troops.
Continuing in its rich tradition of charitable giving and U.S. military support, Hot Leathers is teaming with Soldiers’ Angels to ensure that no soldier goes unloved or unappreciated.
Hot Leathers will be giving rally-goers across the country the opportunity to show their support for U.S. troops by donating to Soldiers’ Angels in $1, $5, and $10 increments, as well as the chance to send personalized messages directly to the troops.
Hot Leathers and Soldiers’ Angels are ecstatic to be teaming up to raise awareness for our active servicemen and women and will be launching their fundraising efforts at Daytona Beach Bike Week’s 70th anniversary celebration, March 4-14.
With an estimated 500,000 bikers rolling through the hot sands of Daytona Beach, Hot Leathers is the official merchandiser for the renowned bike festival and will feature several locations during Daytona Beach Bike Week including locations on Main Street, the Daytona International Speedway and the Cabbage Patch.
Wherever you find yourself during Daytona Beach Bike Week, a Hot Leathers location is sure to be nearby with not only the opportunity to peruse your favorite motorcycle wares but to also show your support for active American soldiers.
Soldiers’ Angels is a volunteer-led non-profit that provides aid and comfort to active servicemen and women of the U.S. military as well as veterans and their families. Since its inception in 2003, Soldiers’ Angels has supported over tens of thousands American military personnel stationed throughout the world.
They currently have over 225,000 Angel volunteers assisting veterans, wounded and deployed personnel and their families in a variety of ways including sending hundreds of thousands of care packages and letters to deployed service members.
In addition to care packages, the volunteers associated with Soldiers’ Angels go to great lengths to demonstrate active care and concern for soldiers and their families.
They supply the wounded with First Response Packs directly to Combat Support Hospitals, provide care and comfort to those in stateside military and VA facilities, offer emergency aid to military families in need, provide for technology that supports rehabilitation to wounded soldiers, offer flights to soldiers on leave or in emergency situations, as well as honor and uphold the families whose loved ones have paid the ultimate price for our freedom and safety.
Hot Leathers has been serving the motorcycle community for over 26 years. The company’s growing wholesale and printing facilities have earned it a place as one of America’s top 50 volume screen printers.
