2011 Supercross
The 2011 AMA Supercross season, which begins Saturday at Anaheim, Calif., won’t began that well for Dan Reardon.
The JDR / J-Star / KTM rider will be sidelined due to injuring his knee while practicing. KTM says Reardon sustained the injury while practicing last weekend for the opening of the 2011 Supercross Season.
But the Australian is not expected to be out long; doctors expect a speedy recovery. Reardon is hoping to make a return for Round 2 of the AMA SX series in Phoenix on Jan. 15.
Reardon was set to make his debut AMA Supercross ride with JDR KTM at Anaheim, but the injury will make the rider wait. Reardon will be campaigning nex to Tye Simmonds in the 450 Class, racing a 350 SX-F.
Reardon is set to contest in the first rounds of AMA Supercross before returning to the Rockstar Energy MX Nations in Australia with JDR Motorsports KTM.
