Glen Helen MX

It’s going to be another exciting weekend of racing out at Glen Helen Raceway Dec. 11-12, with two-day action from both the long-time running Yamaha Pro/AM California State Championships and the SoCal Old Timers MX Club Racing.

The 17th running of the Yamaha Pro/AM California State Championships are split into a two-day format. Racing gets underway on Saturday with the Grand Prix races.

Held on a specially designed course that takes riders throughout the amazing Glen Helen Raceway facility, the Grand Prix races bring excitement and fun and are always a favorite amongst competitors.

The racing carries over to Sunday, when racers take to Glen Helen’s world-class USGP track to compete in a traditional, two-moto motocross race. Champions in each class are decided on combined scores from both races.

The SoCal Old Timers MX Club Racing series, which brings together Southern California’s older motocross racers, also races both days.

Old Timers MX will take place on Glen Helen’s back track and the racing is sure to be great. More information for SoCal Old Timers MX Club Racing can be found at www.socalotmx.com.

The weather promises to be beautiful all weekend – so come on out and spend some time at America’s Playground in Southern California!
