The 2011 Triumph Street Triple R is based on the standard Street Triple, the R version adds fully-adjustable supersport specification suspension and upgraded graphics.
Light and intuitive handling, the Street Triple R features 41mm inverted front forks which are adjustable for preload, rebound and compression damping to give the advanced motorcycle rider the ability to set the motorcycle up for their specific needs.
The Triumph rear monoshock is also adjustable for preload and rebound damping, while the twin 308 mm floating front discs are mated to powerful four-piston Nissin radial calipers for execellent stopping power.
With a wet weight of just 189 kg (416 lbs.) and a lively 106 bhp at its disposal, the R provides a lively yet surprisingly composed ride on a twisting road or race track.
The Street Triple R was featured on the motorcycle racing circuits as the official race bike of the ParkinGO European Motorcycle Racing Series.
The Triumph R includes lightweight five-spoke alloy wheels from the Daytona 675, fat alloy Magura handlebars, a stylish two-tone seat unit and a comprehensive instrumentation includes a built in lap timer, programmable gear change lights, clock and gear indicator, as well as a large tachometer and digital speedo.
Classic Triumph streetfighter twin headlights and twin high level silencers dominate the styling and three color options (Matt Graphite, Intense Orange or Phantom Black with gold wheels) round out the color options for the 2011 Triumph Street Triple R.
