M1 Laguna Seca

The Fiat Yamaha MotoGP Team will carry a special livery in Laguna Seca this weekend to celebrate the upcoming launch of the new-generation Fiat 500 in the USA.

Global fans of Fiat and Yamaha were given the chance to submit their photos to be pictured on the fairings of the M1s of Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo for this race, with 500 spots available on each bike.

It took less than 30 minutes to fill the race-bike fairings when the special website was opened for the submission of photos.

The Fiat Yamaha Team unveiled their one-off livery in the Pit Lane of the Laguna Seca paddock on Thursday July22nd.

This livery matches the special leathers provided by Dainese, also to celebrate the impending release of the Fiat 500 car in the United States. The leathers feature about 100 of 500 fans on the fairing of both bikes.

Both Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo were present and in good spirits although the Doctor still appears to be in some pain.
