A ‘Real-Time’ Track Test of a motocross bike on the Motorcycle Radio Network? Mike worked the censors overtime after the revolutionary 2010 Yamaha YZ450F rocked his world!
OK, so crazy Mike from UltimateMotorCycling.com has done quarter mile passes, mile-long wheelies and even jumped buses on the Motorcycle Radio Network.
One thing he hadn’t tried is to ride a motocross bike on a motocross track for a ‘Real-Time’ MX Track Test. Bill and Todd would like to think that the crew from Yamaha loaned us their game-changing new YZ450F because they wanted us to showcase their inspired mass-centralization efforts.
After the show, we aren’t sure if that was the case or if they just wanted to laugh while Mike tries narrate his impressions as he rips over whoops and attempts a double jump.
In the end, Mike makes it through the MX Track Test without damaging his streetbike helmet, the crew from Yamaha gets a good laugh as they hear the incredibly broad powerband of the big single take Mike’s breath away, and the guys come away from the event knowing that the next big change in the constant evolution of the modern motocross bike has now been reviewed on the Motorcycle Radio Network.
