Amateur Winners
The 2010 AMA Arenacross Series came to an official close last weekend with the debut of the Amateur National Arenacross Championships (ANAC) from Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas.
The ANAC featured the nation’s top amateur arenacross racers across 23 classes, competing for the chance at a national championship the same weekend as the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, season finale.
ANAC action kicked-off on Saturday with the final rounds of both the 65cc (7-11) and 85cc (9-15), which took place just prior to the supercross night show.
The remaining 21 classes commenced on Sunday with one of the most impressive fields of talent the AMA Arenacross Series has ever seen.
Austin Coon, of Spencer, W.V., and Beau Judge, of Carmichael, Calif., each walked away with a pair of national championships, with Coon capturing the AX Lites Intermediate and AX Intermediate titles and Judge walking away as the Over 30 and Over 25 champion.
