GS Adventure
Summer is right around the corner and BMW Xplor, RawHyde Adventures and Touratech USA would like to help you log up some "Adventure Miles" – So pack your gear, gas up your GS, and join us for the Northwest Adventure Rally in Washington State. With four million acres of Wenatchee National Forest, Washington State is also an Adventure rider’s paradise.
June 25- 27, RawHyde and our good friends at Touratech invite you to join us for three days of fun 11 miles north of Leavenworth, Washington in the heart of the Cascade Mountain Range.
Leavenworth is a small mountain town with a German flair, known as the "Bavaria" of Washington. For many of us in the Adventure Riding community; Bavaria holds a spot near and dear because that’s the home of BMW.
So – schedule your Bavarian getaway with us now and get ready to ride the dirt tracks of the Northwest. We’ll be camping under the northern lights and riding to some incredible locations. Mt. Rainier, the highest point in Washington State, is just south of Seattle and well within the reach of a big adventure bike.
If the finer things in life interest you then join us on a private tour of a local winery, sampling allowed, but remember, we’re riding! Washington State is home to over 300 wineries, second only to California, with some fantastic wines being produced in this region.
We all can appreciate the finer things like seafood and wine but what draws folks to our rallies is the riding. Get knobbies mounted on your bike because we’ve got some great "tracks" for you. Our good friends at Touratech are putting together a selection of GPS tracks from mild to wild, and the RawHyde staff will be leading daily rides.
You can choose between a day in the dirt and a day on the streets or any combination you want. Ride to the top of Sugarloaf peak (5814 ft), ride down Swakane Canyon to the Columbia River, visit a brewpub in Leavenworth or conquer the rocky Colockum Pass / Ellensburg loop returning on beautiful Highway 97.
washington vistaWe’ll be camped on 120 acres of private property completely surrounded by National Forest, on the southern flanks of the Entiat Mountains. There’s nothing out there but trees, grass, dirt, sun, stars; and of course the forest roads leading to tremendous views of the Columbia river basin.
Bring your camping gear and a camp chair; like all RawHyde events we eat, sleep and ride in the heart of the adventure. Rawhyde will have a water truck, port-a-potties, outdoor showers, serving tables and some basic amenities. The altitude of the campsite is ~2400 feet. Leavenworth (population ~2,000) has all services, a hospital, markets, auto parts, even a Safeway store.
Your entrance fee of $299.00 includes the excellent food RawHyde is known for, your campsite, showers, guided rides, GPS tracks, one of RawHyde’s classic rally shirts, plus all the nighttime stars you can count. RawHyde Sign-up form is here.
