After a memorable night at the inaugural PINK race last Saturday at Anaheim’s Angel Stadium, Feld Motor Sports and Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, present the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for a Cure Auction exclusively at SupercrossOnline.com and eBay. The one-of-a-kind auction kicks-off today at the championship’s official website with some of the most unique and exclusive items of supercross memorabilia ever available to the public.
So far, last weekend’s special event has generated $27,613.67 in donations in the single largest private fundraiser ever produced for the 3-Day for a Cure. Highlighting the donations was a pair of $10,000 contributions from both Feld Motor Sports and Angels Baseball, which were presented to Team Shasta last Thursday at Press Day.
Additionally, Kawasaki hosted the first-ever Moto Marathon, a 24-hour riding clinic, at its headquarters in Irvine, California, from which proceeds went to supporting the 3-Day for a Cure while an auction established by the Road 2 Recovery Foundation also served the same purpose.
Leading the list of items in the Monster Energy Supercross Auction are all 20 sets of riding gear from the starting lineup of each main event in the AMA Supercross and AMA Supercross Lites classes. Each respective set of gear is signed by the rider that wore it and is in the condition each rider left it in at the finish of their main event.
