Marco Simoncelli dresses for MotoGP success

Simoncelli Flair

Team San Carlo Honda Gresini will have an extra Italian flavor in 2010 with the addition of Rifle as a team partner. The legendary denim brand created by the brothers Guido and Fiorenzo Fratini in 1958 has decided to join rookie rider Marco Simoncelli on his MotoGP adventure in a new project in close collaboration with Team San Carlo Honda Gresini.

From importers of American jeans to the founders of denim culture in Italy and now producers of their own brand, the Tuscan company is currently run by Sandro Fratini, sole shareholder and president of Super Rifle SPA. Determination and a will to succeed are the characteristics that Rifle and Marco Simoncelli have in common and they are reflected in the "Supersic" range, which has been created in collaboration with Simoncelli and Aldo Drudi.

Veronika Jans Speaks… Super Rifle SpA

"Marco Simoncelli is now a Rifle rider and we are really pleased to link up with Team SAN CARLO HONDA GRESINI and accompany Marco on his big MotoGP adventure."

"The creation of a relationship with such an established team as San Carlo Honda Gresini goes much further than the MotoGP paddock. In fact, the spring-summer 2010 Rifle collection will be modelled by both Fausto Gresini and Marco Simoncelli with a photo session at the team’s headquarters. This is further evidence of our faith in this sponsorship and our determination to achieve great results together."

Fausto Gresini Speaks… Team San Carlo Honda Gresini

"I am extremely happy that an established Italian brand such as Rifle is so keen to join Marco Simoncelli on his new adventure in MotoGP and to breathe life into such a close collaboration with our team"

"We are linked by the common desire to consolidate and achieve important results with the Italian flair that sets us both apart. That they want us to take part in and contribute to other initiatives like an advertising campaign is further testimony to the closeness of the relationship between Team San Carlo Honda Gresini and Rifle."
