    With the four-stroke Moto3 class to replaced the current two-stroke 125cc Class in FIM Grand Prix racing, Honda will release the 2012 Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) NSF250R in America.

    The NSF250R is expected to be in authorized Honda dealers which chose to sell the race machine in February, 2012.

    Pirelli announce new race tire vendor for Utah

    Pirelli, and its Western USA race tire vender CT Racing, are pleased to announce Intermountain Racer Supply as its new Intermountain region race tire vendor.

    Intermountain Racer Supply is now servicing the Intermountain region, which includes Miller Motorsports Park and the Utah SBA/ Masters of the Mountain race series, a seven-event race series held at Miller Motorsports Park and alternating on different track configurations. It will also be servicing the WERA national event, the Larry Miller Superbike Challenge held during the WSBK race weekend, and selected track days.

    Professional road racers Josh Hayes and Ben Bostrom teamed up with Sam Gaige and team M3 Racing at the WERA Cycle Jam at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), winning the Heavyweight Superstock class in the 4-Hour WERA National Endurance Series race on a Yamaha YZF R-1, outfitted with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa DOT race tires.

    Gaige, of Rochester, New York, said, "Mark Rozema, Melissa Paris’ mechanic set this whole thing in motion and I thought that Melissa and Josh were going to share the riding with me.

    Yamaha Factory Racing star Josh Hayes, along with his wife Melissa Paris, and teammate Ben Bostrom are scheduled to compete in the upcoming WERA Endurance race this weekend at Virginia International Raceway in Alton, Virginia.

    Competing with Ben Bostrom and Sam Gaige on the M3 Racing YZF-R1, Josh is looking forward to getting back to his WERA roots. "This is where it started for me many years ago and I’m excited to get to race with Ben and Sam.

    Two-time WERA national champion Ben Thompson has ended his working relationship with the Factory Aprilia Millennium Technologies Team.

    Effectively immediately, and with mutual consent, Thompson has been released from his contractual obligations with the KWS Motorsports run Aprilia Team and will no longer participate in the ’09 AMA Daytona Sportbike series for the team, starting with the Mid-Ohio round.

    The second half of May is like an early Christmas for motorcycle racing fans in Utah and the surrounding region. With the Larry H. Miller Dealerships Utah Grand Prix in the rear-view mirror, Miller Motorsports Park is gearing up for two weekends of exciting two-wheeled racing action.

    All the fun kicks off this weekend, May 22-24, with the Bridgestone/WERA National Endurance Series, Michelin/WERA National Challenge Series and Pirelli/WERA West Regional Series presented by Lucas Oil Products. WERA is the biggest amateur motorcycle racing series in America.

    AMA Racing, the amateur-racing arm of the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), is pleased to announce that it has partnered with WERA Motorcycle Roadracing to oversee road-race operations at the AMA Racing Vintage Grand Championships, set for July 24-26 during AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.

    In addition, AMA Racing has made available the road-racing class structure, the necessary supplemental rules to existing amateur racing rulebooks and pre-entry registration forms at AmericanMotorcyclist.com.
