AMA Supersport star Elena Myers will have a huge opportunity Thursday, Aug. 25, at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The 17-year-old California Myers native will pilot a Suzuki GSV-R MotoGP prototype just days before the Red Bull Indianapolis GP that weekend.

Team SuzukiScoopFans rider Elena Myers celebrated the end of the AMA Pro SuperSport West Division season with a solid performance at Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, Calif., on Saturday.
The 17-year-old Californian captured a top-five finish in the race and also finished up in fifth place overall in the West Division.

The 17-year-old California native fractured her left arm while competing in a Supermoto race Monday at Stockton Motorplex Park, Stockton, Calif.

Myers piloted her new 2011 SuzukiScoopFans Suzuki GSX-R600 to a sixth-place finish in Friday’s race and a seventh-place finish on Saturday.
Jimmy Wood led the Pirelli Diablo domination at California Speedway during the WERA West races, with three wins in Expert classes on Pirelli’s racing tires. Wood earned these wins in A Superstock EX, C Superstock EX, and C Superbike EX. Adding to Wood’s wins are those of Kawasaki rider Elena Myers in B Superbike EX, and Austin DeHaven in B Superstock EX.Did we say domination?
While World Superbike racers took to the Tooele, Utah track at the United States round of the 2009 Pirelli Spec-tire championship at Miller Motorsports Park, three women competed in support classes from World Supersport, to the Larry H. Miller Superbike Challenge GTU, and each of them are doing it on Pirelli tires.
