Motorcycle exhaust wraps help to retain heat in your exhaust system, which typically increases horsepower while reducing radiant heat damage.
By wrapping the header and exhaust tubes on your street bike it maintains hotter exhaust gases, decreases the density, and allows the exhaust gas to exit the system faster.
Greater exhaust scavenging is produced and lowers intake temperatures: that equals more horsepower.
Different motorcycle exhaust wrap comes in different grades. Drag Specialties exhaust heat wrap kits feature high-quality fiberglass cloth for high heat insulation up to 2,000ËšF.
The heat wrap kits come in 1" or 2" wide x 25′ rolls and include four 14" locking stainless steel ties to make installation a snap (replacement ties sold separately).
They heat wrap is made in the U.S.A. and are available in black or tan for $31.95 suggested retail for the 1" x 25′ kit and $44.95 for the 2" x 25′ kit.
