The summer break is over. The 2026 AMA Pro Motocross Championship Series is back and returning to the historic Unadilla MX facility in New Berlin, New York. With three rounds remaining, only two riders control their own destiny, and they happen to be brothers: Hunter and Jett Lawrence. Hunter holds a 12-point lead with six motos to race, and we have three fantasy motocross rounds to predict. So, let’s get started with our 2026 Unadilla motocross fantasy picks and tips for RMFantasyMX players.
Hunter Lawrence.
Hunter Lawrence returns from the three-week break with momentum. Hunter has won four of the last five rounds, and three of the last four motos. If Hunter can go 1-1 at the Unadilla National, he won’t have to beat Jett in any of the last four motos to take the title. Hunter has the motivation to take a tight grip on the championship, so I have him for the win at Unadilla MX.
Jett Lawrence.
With three weeks of healing, Jett Lawrence will be more of a threat than ever. Jett’s back is against the wall, so he needs to go 1-1 to put a dent in Hunter’s lead. The desire is there, but the big question is fitness. The time off had to help, and we will find out just how much on Saturday. Regardless, Jett is the solid P2 pick.
Haiden Deegan.
Haiden Deegan is a lonely and reliable P3 pick. Deegan has yet to challenge the Lawrence Brothers, as he hasn’t beaten either of them when they haven’t fallen. At the same time, Deegan is so far ahead of the rest of the pack in most motos that he doesn’t need to look over his shoulder; they’re too far back to see. Deegan is locked in for P3.
Jorge Prado.
Jorge Prado is good for P4. Prado has three P4 overalls in the last five rounds. He’s also been within a position of P4 in four of the last six rounds. Prado has P4 written all over his results, so he’s the pick.
RJ Hampshire.
The difficult pick is P5, as three riders are competing for your selection. RJ Hampshire has scored 4-6 at the last two rounds. Justin Barcia is on a 5-7 run, with Dylan Ferrandis mirroring Barcia with 7-5 results. The numbers slightly favor Hampshire, so he gets the nod.
Eli Tomac.
With the top-five picks predictable this round, the P14 Wild Card becomes a tiebreaker. Valentin Guillod is the odds-on pick. He’s the only rider to finish in P14 overall twice this year. Guillod has also finished motos in P14 four times, more than any other rider. Here’s a stat that will likely make you wince: Eli Tomac went 14-14 at the last round in Washougal.
The 2026 Harley-Davidson Deadwood is the newest cruiser in the Softail lineup, and it arrives with a familiar recipe. The Motor Company took the Heritage Classic, lowered the rear end, chopped the windshield, fitted a solo seat, and painted nearly everything Denim Black. The name comes from the Black Hills town with an outlaw history of its own and a strong connection to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Keith Code founded the California Superbike School in 1980, and it has subsequently grown to be the largest motorcycle track training school in the world. Teejay Adams is an experienced rider, but has still found that she has hangups and limitations to her riding. So, she called Keith’s son Dylan, who now runs the Superbike School with his wife Lara. Teejay went to the 2-day school at the Ridge racetrack in Washington state recently, and absolutely loved it. She tells us exactly what she found out and how it has helped her riding.
