The BSA brand name refuses to go quietly into the night. The name dates back to 1861 when Birmingham Small Arms Company was founded. Nearly a half-century later, BSA motorcycles were rolling down British roads. From 1961 to 1963, BSA was the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer. However, BSA was unable to compete with the Japanese onslaught in the 1960s and 1970s, merging with Norton-Villiers in 1973 and disappearing entirely in 1978.

In 2016, the BSA brand was resurrected by Mahindra Group subsidiary Classic Legends Pvt. Ltd., with new BSAs on the market in 2021. For 2026, there are three BSAs, with two sporting iconic names—Gold Star and Bantam. Let’s take a look at the trio of 2026 BSA motorcycles.
2026 BSA Bantam 350
The Bantam 125 was a massive hit in post-WWII Britain, selling over 400,000 examples. The revival is powered by a liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder 344cc engine, producing 29 horsepower while meeting Euro 5+ standards.

With a round headlight, teardrop tank, and optional analog or digital instruments, it bridges the past and present. A2-compliant makes it more marketable in Europe as an entry-level bike. There are three colorways for the 2026 BSA Bantam 350: Black UJ Theme, Grey & White, and Red & Grey. The list price in Great Britain is £3499.
2026 BSA Gold Star 650
Known for its popularity as a versatile post-WWII racing motorcycle, the BSA Gold Star name was synonymous with performance. The 2026 BSA Gold Star sticks to the street with a design that invokes its ancestors.

The contemporary Gold Star is powered by a 652cc DOHC motor that puts out 45 horsepower at 6500 rpm and 41 lb-ft of torque at 4000 rpm. Weighing in at 470 pounds, the five-speed gets over 70 mpg. Braking is by Brembo, and Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tires are mounted on wire-spoke wheels. The seat height is a friendly 30.7 inches.

Stylistically, it embraces the unmistakable Gold Star tradition, including its classic tank design. Buyers can choose between Shadow Black, Highland Green, and Silver Sheen Legacy for £6300, with a premium Legacy Edition available for £6800.
2026 BSA Scrambler 650
The big thumper is also available in a scrambler configuration, including Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires, a taller seat height, and a split front fender. Dual-channel ABS is matched to a Brembo braking system.

The 2026 Scrambler 650 is available in Yellow, Grey, and Black. The MSRP is £5999.
Mahindra-backed BSA Motorcycles NA is expected to bring in the three-model 2026 BSA lineup into the United States for sale through its 23-dealer network.
