Valentino Rossi’s Dainese D-Air Racing Suit Dissected

Dainese D-Air Racing Suit

Ever wonder what goes into making one of the most exotic set of racing leathers ever made? We do.

But we don’t need to wonder any more — Dainese, the Italian manufacturer of the high-tech, air-bag equipped D-Air racing suit worn by nine-time World Champion Valentino Rossi, has produced a nine-part video series about D-air, the company and people that make it as well as the other Dainese products.

The D-Air is featured in the first installment of the series to begin appear on the Dainese Youtube channel in September. In addition, the series includes Dainese President Lino Dainese, and some famous customers including Giacomo Agostini, Marco Luccinelli and Rossi.

The series takes viewers inside the firm’s three facilities at Molvena, Vicenza and Campodoro. Molvena is the home for D-Tec, the Dainese research and development center and home of the D-Air suit development.

Vicenza is home to the sales and marketing wing as well as the Black Cube automated warehouse facility. Campodoro is where AGV and Dainese helmets are manufactured.

The first video is attached above; for more, visit the Dainese Youtube Channel.
