2012 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally
The Sturgis Buffalo Chip is pleased to announce the debut of Skid Row during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The iconic American metal band Skid Row will rev up the Buffalo Chip crowd with their energetic music and amazing stage show on Friday, Aug. 10, 2012.
Skid Row will double headline with Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators for an all-out rock assault on the Buffalo Chip.
Skid Row formed in Toms River, New Jersey in 1986 and got their start playing small clubs on the eastern seaboard. In 1989 Skid Row released their self-titled first album “Skid Row.” After that came, “Slave to The Grind” and “Subhuman Race.”
All three albums went multi-platinum and topped the music charts. Now with 7 albums to their credit, along with several chart-topping hits, Skid Row has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide. Skid Row, known for their heavy rock sound, tight musical arrangements and explosive lyrics has toured the world playing to capacity crowds from the US to the UK to Russia.
Buffalo Chip campers and Sturgis rally goers can look forward to hearing Skid Row blast hits such as “I Remember You,” “18 to Life,” ‘Sweet Little Sister,” and “Youth Gone Wild” on Aug 10, 2012 in the Buffalo Chip’s famous natural amphitheater.
