Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey once again showed how well he has adapted to the SX-F 450 following Saturday night’s performance at High Point Raceway, Pa., round four of the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.

Dungey swept the round, just as he did the week before at Thunder Valley, Colorado. Dungey would be joined on the overall podium by MotoConcepts Suzuki’s Mike Alessi (2-2) and Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Jake Weimer (3-3).

Following round four of 12 in the 2012 AMA Motocross Championship, Dungey now has 186 points, 42 over Alessi. In third is Weimer, who trails Dungey by 45.

Ryan Dungey (Red Bull KTM SX-F 450 Motocross) says: “Mike (Alessi) put up a fight in both motos. It was a crazy one (today). These were the toughest conditions I’ve experienced here, (but) the bike worked really well throughout the day.

“Every race (and) every championship series goes differently, so I’ll keep my head down and go one race at a time. To celebrate the win is awesome; you’ve got to enjoy it, but its time to go to work again. You’re only as good as your last race and you’ve got to be there every single weekend.”

In the 250 class, GEICO Honda’s Eli Tomac became the first repeat winner following a 2-1 victory. Joining Tomac on the overall High Point 250cc podium was his teammate Justin Barcia (1-3) and KTM’s Ken Roczen (5-2).
