Harley-Davidson Commemorates 100 Years of Apparel
There’s no doubt that Harley-Davidson puts much bold attitude into the creation of its motorcycles, developing such iconic machines as the Sportster, the V-Rod and the Street Glide.
But The Motor Company doesn’t stop the bold-creativity process at motorcycles. This is evident in the new three-chapter series of videos dedicated to 100 years of Harley-Davidson apparel, “Made of a lot More Than Just Leather.”
H-D has released the first chapter of the series (attached above), which explores the “uniqueness of this history and its heritage of innovation.”
Karen Davidson (Harley-Davidson General Merchandise Creative Director) says: “For more than 100 years, Harley-Davidson apparel has been built for riding. The connection between our MotorClothes, motorcycles and riders is fundamental to our heritage. It’s that honesty and authenticity that inspires all of our riding gear.”
Chapter One of the series details the relationship between the gear, the motorcycles and the legacy of the brand by mixing historical footage with images and interviews of people who design MotorClothes.
The second and third videos will be available by March 29.
