2012 Star VMAX | Quick Look

2012 Star Motorcycle

The granddaddy of the power cruiser movement, the Star VMax is strongman boasting 102 cubic inch V-4 powerplant with double overhead cams and four-valves per cylinder.

It’s not weak off the bottom, but rev it up and the bike snaps into hyperdrive.

If you aren’t holding on, you aren’t staying on; burnouts are a piece of cake. Not a one trick pony, the VMax exhibits nice handling characteristics in the canyons, despite it shaft drive and claimed 683-pound wet weight.

For 2012, the VMax gets a new side cover finish and gray seat stitching.
