2012 Yamaha Motorcycle

Rooted in theYZ250F motocrosser and off-roadingWR250F, the street- legal Yamaha WR250R is a highly sophisticated dirt-worthy machine.

Fuel injection is an unusual feature on a bike this size and category, and it feeds a liquid-cooled, DOHC, four-valve single with titanium intake valves.

Power peaks at a staggering 10,000 rpm, so it helps to keep the bike on song. Variable exhaust and intake valves make the most of the highly oversquare e-start engine.

Not all motor, the WR250R has fully adjustable suspension, with a USD fork and linkage rear shock, and an aluminum frame.
