Custom Yamaha R1
As part of its 100th Anniversary, Avon Motorcycle Tyres North America has built a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle, a 2011 Yamaha YZF-R1.
The custom-built anniversary R1, which was unveiled at the 2011 Dealer Expo last month, showcases custom paint by renowned airbrush artist Carlos Avelar.
The custom motorcycle also features many top-name product sponsors as Avon Motorcycles Tyres reaches the 100th-year milestone: Yamaha/Yamaha GYTR, BST Carbon Fiber Wheels, Brock’s Performance, Akrapovic, Saddlemen, Graves, Race Tech, ASV, BMP, Bazzaz, K&N, Driven Racing, Avon Grips, Goodridge, Gilles Tooling, Pit Bull, Hot Bodies, and Sharkskinz.
Avon Motorcycle Tyres says all re-working on the custom R1 was completed by Chris Costa at Yamaha of Cucamonga with transportation by Kendon Trailers and JC Motors Motorcycle shipping, and photos by Go Pro.
