UK Motorcycle Show
The 2011 Carole Nash Motorcycle Live kicks off in just four weeks time and this year’s event has more to offer than ever before and it’s not all for the born-and-bred motorcycling fraternity.
For motorcycle novices, or those wanting to get back to biking after some time away, the industry’s Get On campaign will be offering free taster sessions.
Get On will occupy half of Hall 4 at The NEC for the duration of the nine-day event, giving novice motorcyclist over 16 the chance to try a motorcycle or scooter in complete privacy and safety. Visitors will be supplied with all the gear and fully qualified trainers are on hand to offer expert advice.
Each session will last approximately 20 minutes and participants will be introduced to the basics of biking, riding on a short and simple course to get a feel for the benefits of life on two wheels.
Following the taster session, visitors can explore the rest of the Event, where a long list of exhibitors will be offering everything they need to get started; from motorcycles and scooters of all sizes through to helmets, clothing, security and insurance.
The little ones are not left out of the fun either; kids as young as five can take part in My First Honda License.
They will be guided around a specially constructed street scene to experience the fun of two wheels, while also learning about road safety.
Aspiring young motorcycle riders will receive their very own printed mock-up license and it’s all completely free!
Carole Nash Motorcycle Live runs from Nov. 27 to Dec. 5, 2010.
Tickets are £15 in advance for adults, £10 ($15 USD) for Seniors, £5 ($7.50 USD) for children aged 11-16 while kids under 10 go free. Go to www.motorcyclelive.co.uk for details.
