Pala Motocross
Pala Raceway in Southern California is playing host to its first ever MX National on September 11th and is the 12th and final stop of the 2010 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championships.
The team at Pala is amazing, and the facility, racetrack and nearby resort and casino will be exemplary hosts for the last races of the year, complete with award ceremonies and wrap-up festivities.
AMA Motocross had a chance to catch up with the leaders of the Pala team Ryan Ouellette, Kirk Chandler and Chase Ballard during the recent break in our schedule.
They provided a special tour of how the property and track are developing and getting ready for September. All hands on deck have been working extra hard to build a brand new race track, which includes all new obstacles, hills, jumps, bleachers and VIP areas.
With just under four weeks to go, the facility is shaping up, as the photographs above illustrate. It is worth noting that tickets are selling fast, and all of the onsite camping areas have already sold out.
