The JCR/Honda team suited up for two days of good times at the 12th annual Surfercross event this past Aug. 9 and 10.

Johnny Campbell, Kendall Norman, Jeff "OX" Kargola, Colton Udall and Eric Siraton signed up for the competitive yet very fun event, highlighted in this video.

Day 1 was held at Starwest MX Park in Perris, Calif., and day 2 was held at San Onfre State Beach Trail 6. Each Pro Racer is paired thru random draw with a pro surfer and they race and surf as a team.

Kendall Norman was paired with Volcom’s Troy Eckert and Jeff "OX" Kargola was paired with Hawaiian pro Kealii Mamalla.

Although the JCR/Honda team keeps a rigorous racing and training schedule they do find time to hit the waves on occasion so expectations were high going into the 2 day event. As usual the team did not disappoint. Big congratulations to the pairing of Kendall Norman and Troy Eckert taking home 2nd place in the pro division.

Johnny Campbell says: "Surfercross is a tailor made event for this team combining our passion for surfing with our love for racing dirt bikes. The whole team had a blast and we are already counting down the days till next year."
