WDW 2010: World Ducati Week

2010 World Ducati Week

This June 10-13, the Misano World Circuit in Italy will be transformed, not into a World Superbike or MotoGP racing event but into a "Red Planet" for World Ducati Week – the ultimate celebration for fans of the iconic Italian motorcycle.

Since debuting in 1998, Ducati fans from around the world have celebrated their beloved machines at WDW at Misano, which provides track rides, test rides, shows, MotoGP and Superbike stars, music, non-stop fun and more bikes than you could possibly dream of.

Here are some of this year’s highlights:

Playboy Magazine at WDW

Gorgeous women and gorgeous machines: there always a winning combination. This year, the Italian edition of the historic magazine founded by Hugh Hefner will be providing the glamour as only it knows how. On the Misano circuit, the unmistakable, splendid Playboy Bunnies will stand side by side with the most stunning bikes on the planet.

Ducati Series

As in previous years, WDW will host one of the Ducati Desmo Challenge races, which offer all Ducatisti with a road racing license the thrill of a Ducati Series.

And this time, the British and Dutch Ducati Series will be unified with the Italian one! A fantastic opportunity, then, for courageous riders to compete in front of a vast, passionate crowd.

Ducati University

Ducati is technological innovation, engineering excellence and incomparable Italian design: a constantly evolving wealth of know-how built up by generations of experts.

At WDW you’ll have the chance to attend the Ducati University. Don’t miss out on the amazing opportunity to glean the secrets of the Ducati universe directly from the lips of the Masters of Desmodromic Force!

Around the World in 80 Clubs

On June 13, Paolo Pirozzi, President of the Naples Ducati Dreams Club, will set out on a new Multistrada 1200 S on an astonishing round-the-world ride lasting one year, hooking up with 80 Official Ducati Clubs on five continents.

Ducati Movieland

Even the glittering movie world is dazzled by Ducati: at WDW get ready for non-stop projection of all the most memorable "Desmo" movie scenes – and see all the trailers for the latest films in which Ducati bikes will play a starring role.
