Sturgis rocks with top live music

Creedence Clearwater Revisited will play the Legendary Buffalo Chip Campground on Sunday August 2nd in a double headline show with George Thorogood & The Destroyers during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

Lita Ford, then, is no suprise today as The Chip announced that she will be bringing her rock and roll attitude on Monday August 3rd, 2009. She’s leaving her home on a deserted Caribbean Island to join the campers on the Chip and play her first concert tour in 15 years.

Lita will join country music superstar Toby Keith during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in a must see combination of country and rock and roll. Lita’s hard rock roots date back to her 11th birthday and her role as the lead guitarist in the all-female rock band, The Runaways.

Toby Keith is coming to The Legendary Buffalo Chip Campground to kick off the official start of the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally on Monday, August 3rd. "In our 28 years of having the best acts in the country, I can’t recall a single act that has given a more electrifying performance than Toby Keith, " said Rod Woodruff, campground owner.

Sturgis Motorcycle Rally rock fans will be treated to a biker’s delight when Billy Squier takes the stage at the Legendary Buffalo Chip Campground on Tuesday August 4th.

"Here’s a guy who has defined arena rock with string of hits as long as your arm," said Michael Sanborn of the Buffalo Chip. "The hard rock rhyrhms and Squires distinctive voice created numerous rock anthems that have endured for years.

Rock and Roll Hall Of Famers Aerosmith will take the stage on Wednesday August 5th during the 2009 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally at the Legendary Buffalo Chip.

Since their 1973 self-titled Double Platinum debut album, Aerosmith has been a consistent hit- making machine with 21 top 40 hits, nine of which reached number 1. The Boston blues-based band has crossed hard rock, pop, heavy metal, glam and rhythm & blues genres. Tesla, the hard-rockn’ Sacramento based blues metal band will play The Legendary Buffalo Chip Campground Thursday, August 6th. The Band, which began in 1984 as City Kidd has sold more than 16 million albums with 23 charted hits.

Sturgis Motorcycle Fans are in for a huge treat when Hinder joins Tesla for a night of hard rock at the Legendary Buffalo Chip, Thursday August, 6th.

The hard-drivin’ new bad boys of rock will bring their unique blend of raw guitar riffs and vocal harmonies to the Best Party Anywhere with an expectation to set a new party standard at the Sturgis Rally.
