Ducati is delighted to announce that Shell Advance’s technical partnership has been extended until the end of the 2013 season.
The extended relationship will ensure the continued development of tailored Shell Advance lubricant and Shell V-Power fuel for the Desmosedici bikes of the Ducati Marlboro Team of Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden.

The latest addition to the Hypermotard family benefits from Shell’s track-to-road philosophy – not only does Ducati use Shell products on the racetrack in MotoGP and World Superbike, it also chooses Shell Advance oil and Shell V-Power road fuel as the first fill for every Ducati leaving the famed Borgo Panigale factory in Bologna, Italy.
Casey Stoner took to the top step of the podium for the second consecutive race at a wet Shell Advance Malaysian MotoGP. Following on from last weekend’s Australian victory, Stoner broke away from the pack early on in the race and never looked back, eventually finishing with a huge 14 second lead over nearest rival Dani Pedrosa.

Leading motorcycle lubricant brand and Ducati MotoGP team technical partner Shell Advance has reached an agreement with MotoGP rights holders Dorna Sports S.L to become title sponsor of the 2009 Shell Advance Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix. The agreement has resulted from an ongoing partnership with Dorna which has already seen a strong Shell Advance track-side advertising presence at 2009 MotoGP events in Qatar, Italy, Germany and the United States.
Shell has been involved in MotoGP competition since 2003, through its technical partnership with Ducati Corse.
MotoGP rights holders Dorna Sports S.L have reached an agreement with leading motorcycle engine oil brand Shell Advance, for them to become the title sponsor of the 2009 Shell Advance Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix.
The agreement has resulted from an ongoing partnership which has already seen a Shell Advance presence through track side advertising campaigns at MotoGP events this season in Qatar, Italy, Germany and the United States. Shell Advance is also an official technical partner of the factory Ducati MotoGP team.
