Jorge Lorenzo & Ben Spies Replica HJC Helmets Ben Spies has endorsed the HJC helmet..
Many motorcycle helmet companies have set their sights on becoming the number-one manufacturer in the world. Having held that position for many years, HJC considers this preeminent rank as more of a challenge to continue striving forward rather than an accomplishment to be savored.
Snell 2010 Helmet
The all-new CL-16 from HJC motorcycle helmet is approximately 100 grams (3.5 ounces) lighter than the model it replaces and is one of the first helmets to have Snell 2010 approval. It has new multi-layer foam padding for a better fit and new SpeedCool interior fabric for moisture-wicking comfort.
Aerodynamic Motorcycle Helmet
New for 2010 (available October 2009) is the Trophy graphic replica of Ben Spies 2009 race helmet. An example of HJC’s world-leading R&D, the FS-15 is lighter, quieter and more comfortable than previous models. It was under development for over two years and was designed from the ground up with the help of HJC’s state-of-the-art wind tunnel and CAD/CAM equipment. Our precise 3-D modeling provides the basis for exceptional fit, lighter weight and clean aerodynamics.
For a limited time, HJC’s IS-16, IS-Max, IS-33 and Sy-Max II helmets are now available with a FREE high-definition Sun Visor. As the #1 helmet manufacturer in the world, HJC utilizes industry-leading CAD 3D modeling programs to design helmets that are lightweight, aerodynamic and extremely comfortable.
The helmet pictured, the IS-16, features an Advanced Polycarbonate Composite Shell, a 3-stage Adjustable Integrated SunShield, (ACS) Advanced Channeling Ventilation System for full front to back airflow and a moisture-wicking and odor-free SilverCool interior.
HJC’s new FS-15 in now available in colored carbon fiber. FS-15 carbon helmets are 150 grams lighter than the standard fiberglass/Spectra® FS-15 models. The FS-15 carbon shares the same class-leading aerodynamic design that was under development for over two years and was designed from the ground up with the help of HJC’s state-of-the-art wind tunnel and CAD/CAM equipment. During development, Ben Spies provided feedback to our engineers throughout the 2008 AMA season. Ben continues to wear the helmet as he attacks the World Superbike series this year.
