Canadian Motorcycle Journey
In “Reconnecting With Canada: The North, Episode 3” attached above, motorcyclists Joe Lloyd and Paul Mondor begin the trip in Peace River, when the adventure suddenly becomes even more real as the threat of a severe winter weather warning has the team on full alert for their longest leg yet.
Battling through temperatures of -30 C, the Reconnecting with Canada (RWC) Team heads northward into Northern Alberta aboard the BMW F800GS . This northern Alberta episode is a mix of cold temperatures, winter conditions, and northern Canadian culture.
Featuring classic Canadian pond hockey, snowmobiles, French winter festival, and historic fur trading towns. RWC: NORTH team member Mondor gets to visit a french Canadian settlement in northern Alberta and makes him remember his own childhood growing up in French speaking Quebec.
“Reconnecting with Canada: The North” is an adventure lived and seen from behind the visors of these two brave motorcyclists, Lloyd and Mondor.
The tale is told from the unique and unreal perspective of these two motorcycle riders exploring Northern Canada on icy and snowed in roads.
These brave motorcyclists will face conditions and deal face to face with Mother Nature as she will most likely throw all she has in their ways as they discover. Not only will these riders observe the geographical wonders of Northern Canada, but also its amazing people who makes it a place of wonder and beauty and danger known the world over.
