The 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 Grand Tour is the sightseeing version of the Multistrada V4 S, configured for long pavement miles rather than off-road capability. The MSRP is $28,395, and it comes in one dedicated color and graphics package.
Ducati builds on the V4 S with a radar system as standard equipment, enabling adaptive cruise control and blind-spot detection. LED running lights add visibility, and a tire pressure monitoring system is included.
Side cases are standard, with a total capacity of 60 liters, and the passenger gets a long-distance seat. The Minimum Preload function maximizes sag for easier mounting, and the Easy Lift function raises the ride height to reduce the effort of taking the bike off its stand.
The S specification brings semi-active suspension that constantly alters damping, plus auto-leveling for proper ride height and attitude. The 50mm inverted fork has 6.7 inches of travel, and the shock has 7.1 inches.
The 1158cc V4 Granturismo engine makes 170 horsepower at 10,500 rpm and 92 lb-ft of torque at 8750 rpm. It uses valve springs rather than desmodromic valve actuation, and it is smooth at low rpm, strong in the midrange, and plenty powerful up top. Valve service comes every 36,000 miles.
Multistrada V4 handling is strong on the road, with generous cornering clearance and an all-day comfortable riding position. Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tires run on 19-/17-inch aluminum wheels, and Brembo Stylema calipers work 320mm front discs with cornering-aware ABS.
The 5.8-gallon fuel tank and 6-speed transmission with quickshifter round out the package. The Grand Tour is for riders who want a fast, technology-rich tourer with luggage ready to go.
