The 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series rolls into The Motor City for round 11 of the 17-round tussle. The balance of power has shifted over the last few races, so let’s get to our 2026 Detroit Supercross fantasy picks and tips for RMFantasySX players.

- Hunter Lawrence has established himself as the top dog in Supercross. After building a series lead based on runner-up finishes, Lawrence is now a consistent winner. He has won two Main Events and a Triple Crown in the last four rounds, and he has a nine-point lead in the standings. It took Lawrence more than half a season to become a favorite, and his chances of winning the title are looking good. Click on Lawrence for the Detroit Supercross Win.

- Ford Field will be a huge race for Eli Tomac. Lawrence has beaten Tomac in three of the last four rounds, and that’s a problem for Tomac. As he is down nine-points, Tomac can’t afford to continue to slip back. Tomac’s off-night in Birmingham more than doubled Lawrence’s lead. While Tomac will be motivated after a P3 last week, Lawrence is on a roll. If Lawrence gets a good start, and he routinely does, Tomac will be settling for P2. Still, it’s close for the top two, so picking either one to win is a good one.

- Roczen rode brilliantly last week in Birmingham. His poor start must have built a fire in his belly, as Roczen was a rocket. Still, when it came time to reel in Lawrence, Roczen couldn’t do it. Also, Tomac has beaten Roczen in four of the last five rounds since Roczen’s win in Glendale. Tomac and Lawrence have combined for wins in seven of the ten rounds this year, so they’re the cream of the 2026 crop. Roczen has only finished in the top two at three of ten rounds, so he’s a solid P3 pick.

- Cooper Webb should return to the top five in Detroit, one slot ahead of Justin Cooper. A fall last week left Webb in P6, allowing Malcolm Stewart to notch his first top five of the year. Expect Webb to take P4, as he has bested Justin Cooper at seven of the last eight rounds. That’s enough to hand P4 to Webb and P5 to Cooper.

- If you’re trying some Hail Mary picks, there are two riders to consider putting in the top five. Stewart continues to improve and made the top five last week after Webb’s crash. Jorge Prado seems to be Mr. P6, even though he lost the spot on the last lap in Birmingham. If anyone in the top five falters, Stewart and Prado are most likely to find themselves in the top five.

- Although the Wild Card is a tough one at P15, we have a selection of good picks and longshots for you to consider. Grant Harlan is on a 15-15-14 run, so my automatic pick for the Wild Card. Mitchell Harrison is also a good choice, as he has gone 16-20-16-15 over the last four rounds. Longer shots include Vince Friese (15-14-13-13) and Garrett Marchbanks. Marchbanks is especially unpredictable, as he comes into Detroit with a wildly up-and-down scorecard: 14-15-13-22-22-7-14-10. One more possibility is Justin Bogle, who returned to action in Birmingham and finished P18 the first time back. Bogle may have some upside this week.
