The 2026 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster enjoys technical, ergonomic, and practical upgrades this year. While the chassis and the engine are unchanged, there is still plenty to know about it. So, let’s dig into the fast facts regarding the changes to this comfort-oriented Triumph Bonnie.
- To start, we’ll let Triumph Chief Commercial Officer Paul Stroud present the case for the new Speedmaster: “From its relaxed riding position and evocative twin soundtrack to its elegant detailing and agile handling, the Speedmaster has always been about the joy of the ride. It’s a bike that invites you to take your time and enjoy every mile. For 2026, we’ve sharpened its custom cruiser attitude with a more distinctive look, enhanced ergonomics, and new rider-focused technology.”
- ABS and traction control are now cornering-aware. A new IMU makes this possible. While ABS response is fixed, swapping between Road and Rain riding modes changes the aggressiveness of the traction control.
- The ergonomics on the 2026 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster are more comfort-oriented. The rider and passenger seats are wider. Also, the handlebar has a straighter bend for what Triumph calls “a more natural riding position.”
- With the added comfort, you can ride farther between gas stops. The new tank holds 3.7 gallons, an increase of over two quarts, and the Speedmaster gets an estimated 64 mpg. That means you should be able to cover over 200 miles between pump visits.
- New aluminum rims are lighter than their predecessor. Metzeler Roadtec 01 tires return on the pair of 16-inch wire-spoke hoops.
- The LED headlight is new. It features a DLR to set the Speedmaster apart from the crowd.
- A USB-C port has been added to the dash. It may be a retro bike, but the Speedmaster has moved far beyond the Lucas-era electronics.
- Two new paint jobs—Carnival Red and Sapphire Black—are available at the standard list price of $14,795. You should be able to check out a 2026 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster at your local dealer now.
