2016 BMW S 1000 RR

BMW may have left World Superbike factory competition, but that hasn’t stopped the Germans from keeping the S 1000 RR track-competitive.

The latest RR is just one-horse shy of the 200-horsepower mark, and the torque sits at 83 ft/lbs. Not stopping there, the 2016 RR has a lightweight chassis, short wheelbase, and steep rake, plus a full suite of electronic assistance.

The RR features Dynamic Damping Control suspension, which was previously an ex-works option for the ultra high-performance HP4. BMW offers factory accessories to increase its track worthiness.
