RSD Rocket Motorcycle Jacket
Ex-racer turned industrial designer Roland Sands is ready to rock… quite literally. His “Rocker” jacket headlines the new Main Set collection from Roland Sands Design.
Combining classic styling cues with functionality, the Rocker is billed as the ultimate black leather motorcycle jacket. In addition to the Rocker, RSD rolled out the Mission and the Hesher jackets at a special event during the Dealer Expo in Indianapolis. Featuring four distinct styles and three colorways, the Main Set collection is now ready to rock your world.
Roland Sands says: “The name says it all. The Rocker is designed for riders first, but functions equally well as an every day jacket.
“Note the satin poly lining, zip pockets and side adjust buckles to tailor the fit to any waistline are added to rider-specific features including rotated pre-curved sleeves, relaxed race collar and a dropped back length.
“The RSD line is riding gear built with a parallel of fashion and function. Removable armor, well-placed sew lines, an asymmetrical front zip and strategic reinforcing rivets all play into creating a comfortable and stylish piece. We’ve really paid a lot of attention to the details.”
Making sure the Rocker feels as good as it functions, it is constructed of 1.1mm thick naturally distressed top grain cowhide. Perforated ventilation panels help riders keep their cool when the action heats up. Offered classic black, the Rocker features armor-ready pockets for the more serious road warriors.
Roland Sands says: “The Rocker features full riding protection combined with all-day comfort. The leather we use for our jackets is all A Grade, with light tumbling to ensure the perfect ‘broken in’ feel from the first time you ride in it.”
