Ducati to Unveil at Dallas Show

Dallas Motorcycle Show

Unveiled this past week at the EICMA international motorcycle show in Milan, the new 2011 Ducati Diavel power cruiser and Ducati 1198 SP superbike are being flown straight to Dallas and will make its North American debut at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show in Dallas on Friday, November 12 at 5:00 p.m.

2011 Ducati Diavel

The innovative new Ducati Diavel combines decades of twin-cylinder heritage and Italian style with a bold, world-beating technical confidence strong enough to extend the boundaries of motorcycle design.

Built to have a commanding presence, though lightweight and agile like all Ducatis, the Diavel takes the man-motorcycle relationship to the next level in absolute comfort.

For connoisseurs of technology, ABS, Ducati Traction Control and Ducati Riding Modes deliver a confidence-inspiring sophistication while stunning looks, 162hp and 207kg (456lb) of authentic Ducati performance drives a comfortable sport lifestyle that could only be dreamt of before.

2011 Ducati 1198SP

This brand new, track-ready 1198 SP rolls out as a new-for 2011 motorcycle model packed with "Bike 2.0" features as Ducati continues to lead in the new era of motorcycle technology.

Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Quick Shifter, Ducati Data Analyzer, Ohlins TTX rear suspension, a race-derived slipper clutch and lightweight aluminum fuel tank are just some of the high tech and exotic componentry on this new superbike.

The SP marks the first time in history that "quick-shift" electronics have been fitted to a production Ducati.
