Ronald Reagan Library: Ride & VIP Party

Motorcycle Events

Karen Davidson, the granddaughter of Harley-Davidson’s co-founder William A. Davidson, will lead hundreds of Southern California motorcyclists as Grand Marshal of a Ride & VIP Party at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum on Sunday, Oct. 17, to celebrate the final weeks of the Library’s “Born To Be Wild” motorcycle exhibit.

Many celebrities, government officials, and special guests are also expected to attend.

Five Southern California Harley-Davidson dealerships are presenting the Ride & VIP Party: Anaheim-Fullerton Harley-Davidson, Antelope Valley Harley-Davidson, Barger Harley-Davidson, California Harley-Davidson, and Pomona Valley Harley-Davidson.

Group rides are planned from each dealership departing at 9 a.m. (10 a.m. from Barger H-D) on Oct. 17. Karen Davidson, who has been riding Harleys since she was 9 and is today Harley-Davidson’s Creative Director of General Merchandise, will lead the ride from California Harley-Davidson in Harbor City.

The party is limited to 500 guests. Tickets are $55 and offered first come, first served and include full access to the Library and Museum, the Air Force One Pavilion, the “Born To Be Wild” exhibit, and the private VIP party grounds.

Guests will be treated to an “All You Can Eat” Presidential buffet, a concert by the 8-piece all-star United Blues Band, raffle prizes, stage ceremony, and much more.

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger says: “I don’t know if most people know but it was President Reagan that really helped Harley-Davidson to get back on its feet. And Harley-Davidson came back like gangbusters and became now one of the top motorcycle companies in the world, all because of Ronald Reagan. And that’s why we are celebrating here at the Reagan Library motorcycles and his great work in that area alone.”

The Ronald Reagan Library is located at 40 Presidential Drive in Simi Valley, California.

“Born To Be Wild VIP Party” tickets are available online at ReaganLibrary.com/events or through the 5 participating dealerships by phone or visit.
