    Feld Motor Sports recently announced that SPEED will air the first-ever, live motorsports doubleheader with two of Feld Motor Sports’ most popular properties to open the 2010 racing season.

    On Saturday, Jan. 9, SPEED will present six-and-half hours of live programming, starting with Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam live (7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT) from Atlanta’s Georgia Dome, followed by the season-opening Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, race from Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. beginning at 10 pm. ET/7 p.m. PT.

    2010 AMA Superbike Championship Schedule

    AMA Pro Racing officials announced today the 2010 race schedule for the AMA Pro Superbike Championship that will see the series visit the foremost road courses in the United States. SPEED will once again serve as AMA Pro’s broadcast partner.

    The 2010 Superbike schedule will feature the two premier classes competing in nine confirmed events in key markets across the country. Negotiations are ongoing for a 10th race. Those details will be released in the near future.

    As the season draws to a close, the demand for coverage of the 2009 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship has reached a pinnacle and SPEED has responded, presenting three hours of exclusive coverage this Saturday, August 29.

    Beginning at 8 p.m. ET, the super competitive 250 Class race from Budds Creek will kick-off an evening of the world’s premier motocross racing. Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Christophe Pourcel and Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey are in the midst of a major battle for the series championship, but a determined Jake Weimer had plans of his own.

    The James spots will support "SPEED Dream Ride," the network’s first-ever fully integrated holiday programming and promotional event set to kick off Thanksgiving Day.

    As threatening skies moved into Budds Creek MX Park and rain began to fall at the Monster Energy Motocross National, Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki’s Chad Reed, of Australia, endured the conditions to take his fifth overall victory of the season as well as capture his first AMA Pro Motocross championship with two rounds remaining. Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Jake Weimer, of Rupert, Idaho, grabbed the 250 Class win for his third victory of the season.

    Reed’s return to the outdoor nationals has been one of the most successful seasons of his career.

    The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) is pleased to announce that the Ride Like a Pro precision riding team will perform at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course this July 24-26 as part of AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days.

    "AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days is known for one of the broadest schedules of motorcycling-related activities anywhere, from our massive swap meet to seminars to bike shows to vintage racing," said Tigra Tsujikawa, AMA special events manager.
