Just yesterday my mind was wandering back to 2004 to my Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6RR racebike’s slipper clutch – a first at the time and considered to be high-technology. Today, I am focused on Kawasaki’s completely redesigned 2011 Ninja ZX-10R.

American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) amateur dirt-trackers will compete at half-mile and short-track venues, including the Daytona Flat Track Stadium’s world-class limestone oval, March 5-8 at the four-round 2011 AMA Racing Winter Dirt Track National Championships in Georgia and Florida.

Improving upon his Position 4 (P4) at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana CA, May piloted his Suzuki GSX-R 1000 around the 2.56 mile Road Atlanta circuit in 1:26.943 to place himself in P3 on the grid.
