For the French Grand Prix, round 4 of the 2011 MotoGP Championship, Bridgestone debuted a brand new asymmetric rear tire.
This MotoGP tire had a soft compound rubber in the right shoulder and extra soft compound rubber in the lesser-used left shoulder.
125cc France MotoGP
Maverick Viñales (Blusens by Paris Hilton Racing Team) claimed his first ever victory in the 125cc MotoGP class in just his fourth race by beating Nicolás Terol (Bankia Aspar) on the final lap at in a thrilling race long battle at Le Mans, France.

Casey Stoner set the pace at Le Mans in Saturday qualifying for the Grand Prix of France. The Australian stayed atop the time sheets the entire session, consistently maintaining a gap of almost a half second on the MotoGP field until the closing stages.

In a very competitive Moto2 second practice at Le Mans for the French GP, it was Stefan Bradl (Viessmann Kiefer Racing) who led the way for this weekend’s Monster Energy Grand Prix de France, as he did in the morning. Thomas Lüthi (Interwetten Paddock Moto2) was second ahead of Simone Corsi (Ioda Racing Project).

Moto2, which continues to offer some of the closest and most exciting racing in MotoGP, heads to Le Mans in France this weekend.

Though the Rizla Suzuki pilot was the last rider to finish at Estoril, Bautista proved he can overcome the intense process of physical reconditioning needed to compete in the MotoGP Championship.
