2011 AMA Vintage Dirt Track
The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) continues to expand the AMA Racing Vintage Dirt Track National Championship Series. In addition to highlighting six races at three New York tracks as a series within a series – the Empire State Shootout – the AMA has added a round on Friday, July 29, on the half-mile track in Du Quoin, Ill.
AMA Grand Championship
The American Motorcyclist Association is pleased to announce a new promoting partner for the AMA Racing Dirt Track Grand Championships.
North America Action Sports (NAAS) will promote and operate the 2011 championship event July 25-31 at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds in Du Quoin, Ill.
2011 Grand National Races
AMA Pro Racing announced Friday the 2011 AMA Pro Flat Track Grand National Championship schedule that features an increased number of races, plus new and former events back on the schedule.
The 2011 Flat Track schedule features 22 dates in 17 markets across the country with a mixture of Short Track, TT, Half-Mile and Mile dirt tracks.
The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) has announced the technical stewards for the AMA Racing Dirt Track Grand Championships, which will bring the fastest amateur dirt-track racers in the country to Du Quoin, Ill., this June 27-July 4. Tryce Welch, the country’s leading authority on DTX bike setup and motors, will serve as chief DTX technical steward, and technical consultant Josh Lynn will serve as chief technical steward for all other disciplines.
AMA Pro Racing and AMA Racing, the amateur racing department of the American Motorcyclist Association, have reached an agreement to include professionally licensed riders during selected days of competition at the AMA Racing Dirt Track Grand Championships to be held from June 27th to July 5th at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds in Du Quoin, Ill.
