Geico Honda standout Eli Tomac is hoping to earn his first career victory during the inaugural Monster Energy Supercross event at Oakland Coliseum.
Eli Tomac (Honda Supercross) says: "I really want to get a win, but I would be happy with anywhere on that podium. A win would just be the icing on the cake."

The Australian JDR/J-Star/KTM Team had its best race this season with Ryan Marmont finishing inside the top ten in the heavily-stacked Lites Supercross class and SX rider Tye Simmonds qualifying for his first U.S. Supercross event aboard his KTM 350 SX-F race machine at Dodger Stadium in LA Saturday evening.
The AMA Supercross returns to Los Angeles, for the first time since the SX series left the Coliseum, for the inaugural Monster Energy motorcycle racing event at Dodger Stadium.
The term "Supercross" was coined as the event name for the first organized motocross race that was successfully held inside a stadium in the United States.
With 17 seasons in the professional ranks, Kevin Windham is the most tenured rider on the Monster Energy AMA Supercross tour.
But even the 32-year-old veteran from Centerville, Miss., will be exploring new territory this weekend when he rides at historic Dodger Stadium for the first time.
