2012 MV Agusta

MV Agusta has upgraded is flagship Brutale for 2012, and the new R 1090 features a 1078cc powerplant that packs more displacement than any MV in history.

The engine churns out a peak of 144 horsepower at 10,300 rpm, and is tamed by an eight-level traction control system, plus dual 310mm front disc brakes.

Front suspension is handled by 50mm USD Marzocchi forks and a Sachs rear shock with new valving for the R edition.

The passenger hasn’t been forgotten, as the R 1090 gets a new seat with roomier accommodations in the rear.
