2027 Kove 650RR First Look: 7 Fast Facts for Supersport Fans

The 2027 Kove 650RR is a 645cc inline-4 supersport bike equipped with a six-axis IMU, cornering ABS, a quickshifter, built-in dash cams, and blind-spot monitoring. Chinese manufacturer Kove, whose off-road-focused bikes are sold in the US, already builds a smaller four-cylinder sportbike, the 450RR. US pricing and availability for the 650RR have not been announced.

  1. The chassis is built around a twin-spar frame. An aluminum subframe supports the seat, and the 4.5-gallon fuel tank is aluminum as well. The wheelbase is 55.4 inches, seat height is just under 32 inches, and Kove puts the 650RR’s curb weight at 430 pounds. Both ends of the suspension have adjustable damping, and Kove has released no further details.

  1. Front and rear cameras and blind-spot monitoring are built in. Kove calls its blind-spot system Lane Change Assist; it watches for vehicles beside and behind the 650RR and warns the rider when one is in the blind spot. Additionally, the cameras double as dash cams that record the road ahead and behind.

  1. The 2027 Kove 650RR makes its case on equipment, from a brand US riders know for dirt. Cornering ABS, a quickshifter, dash cams, and blind-spot monitoring are features a buyer can check off a list. Engine character and chassis feel are not, and they’re what separate one supersport from another. Kove earned its US following with rally-derived adventure bikes, and now the Chinese brand has created the 650RR to replicate that reputation on asphalt.
