8 Hours of Doha

The Yamaha Austria Racing Team (YARTS) managed to clinch the 2009 world title prior to this last round. During the 2009 season, the Yamaha Austria Racing Team, running Michelin tires, had shown consistency race after race, winning at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 8 Hours of Oschersleben and the 8 Hours of Albacete. The team, with riders Igor Jerman, Steve Martin and Gwen Giabbani also took a fourth place at the 8 Hours of Suzuka, beside some of the most competitive Japanese teams also racing for top honors.
